it’s astonishing that any place could have such rude staff. the restaurant experience was dreadful, with overcooked meals that defied explanation. also, i expected at least a complimentary gesture considering the sauna was broken—how hard could it be to maintain cleanliness in rooms? alas, i almost gave them a good review, but just couldn’t!

Our stay was filled with issues that dampened our experience. The restaurant staff were often unhelpful, making us feel unwelcome, especially when ordering cash-only during dinner. Additionally, the cleanliness of our room left much to be desired. we had to request a change of towels and felt uncomfortable doing so, which soured our hopes for a relaxing visit.

the free guest card for public transport is a great perk. the pillows are too flimsy.

The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by majestic mountains. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring an excellent buffet with fresh local produce. The staff were remarkably helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

It was just a perfect match for a weekend escape in Schoenau am Koenigsee with good price-value balance. The breakfast buffet was really diverse and kept everyone satisfied. Be sure to request a room on the cooler side of the hotel for a better experience.

The location was fantastic, right by the bus stop to Königsee and had stunning views of the mountains. The staff was very friendly, welcoming us warmly at check-in. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection too!

During our 3-night stay as a family, we loved the lovely views of the mountains from our room and the spacious layout of the double room. The breakfast was hearty and varied, keeping us energized for our daily excursions. Additionally, the restaurant on-site served delicious meals, and the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.

The Hotel Baerenstueberl was a charming find with its spacious bathroom and a great location, only a short drive from attractions. The friendly staff made our late check-in smooth. Breakfast offered a good variety, but I wished for more options during our stay.
